Parliament Issue 20 • Legal Update 2015

$0.00

The twentieth issue of Parliament is our Legal Update Issue for 2015. Each year, we dedicate an entire issue to updating you on some of the changes that may affect you in your business. The best part is you don’t have to go and find that information on your own…we’ve compiled it in one place for you (and we even include pretty pictures, too). This issue covers shipping cremated remains, new VA Memorial Benefits, a handy article which gives you at least 5 recent changes in deathcare that may bring new risks, more information on ‘ban the box’, and an always-popular case analysis. The twist with this one is it shows how, if you can’t win a case, you can sometimes just get the law changed. There’s a lot in this issue!

ABOUT PARLIAMENT

The owl has long been associated with wisdom, longevity and truth. They’ve appeared for centuries in old texts (and sometimes new texts) related to death and to justice.

That said, Lemasters is a blend of two things: deathcare and law.

The owl has been a part of our company symbolism since our founding (the three colored circles in the logo for Lemasters are inspired by the shape of an owl’s eye).

And the name of this publication? A Parliament is what you call a group of owls.
